UHU-Linux è la distro Linux leader in Ungheria.

UHU Linux e' dedicata principalmente agli utenti ungheresi, per questo un maggior impegno è stato dato al supporto pieno alla lingua ungherese.

Facile nell'installazione, questa distro soddisfa le esigenze di utenti novizi ed esperti e l'usabilità è la massima possibile e coinvolge ogni pacchetto software disponibile che viene gestito da dpkg.

Lo sviluppo è completamente libero e ognuno è invitato a parteciparvi.

The second test release of UHU-Linux 2.2, a general-purpose Linux distribution designed for Hungarian speakers, is out and ready for testing. Changes since test 1 include: informative text in Live and Normal installation modes; in Live mode /boot partition's file system can be ext2 or ext3; in Live mode installation icon on desktop is removed after installation completes; if there are other partitions on hard disk the disk will not be displayed unless user chooses otherwise; new user name will also appear in Live mode; installation failure fixes in Normal mode; DVD image now uses GRUB instead of isolinux so, in theory, it should be possible to boot it from USB-connected devices; DVD image can be written to USB devices with dd; corrections to boot problems on some CD/DVD drives, various minor package updates.
