Guida a Batocera: Emulation Station, temi e traduzione di giochi tramite IA.

Per molti emulatori (quelli basati su RetroArch, indicati dalla presenza di "libretro" nel nome), è possibile utilizzare questa funzione per tradurre automaticamente le schermate di gioco scritte in una lingua che non si conosce. Funziona anche con caratteri non latini: sì, ora è possibile giocare a quei giochi giapponesi che non si è mai provato prima.

Questa è una funzionalità introdotta con Batocera 5.24: premendo contemporaneamente i tasti [Hotkey]+ [R1], il gioco si metterà in pausa e, dopo alcuni secondi, le traduzioni verranno sovrapposte alla schermata di gioco. È possibile riprendere la partita utilizzando la stessa combinazione di tasti.

La configurazione avviene tramite Menu principale > Impostazioni di gioco > Traduzione gioco IA

• Abilita il servizio AI : attiva o disattiva questa funzione

• Lingua di destinazione : basta selezionare la lingua in cui si desidera tradurre le schermate. Non è necessario specificare le lingue di origine, Batocera le rileverà automaticamente e gestirà la traduzione in autonomia.

• URL del servizio : abbiamo stretto una collaborazione con i nostri amici di ZTranslate per fornire una chiave API generica a tutti i nuovi utenti di Batocera. Puoi lasciare questo campo vuoto e verrà utilizzata la chiave API predefinita di Batocera, con un limite di 50.000 chiamate API al mese. In alternativa, puoi fornire la tua chiave API e inserire il tuo indirizzo nel campo URL del servizio , utilizzando il formato: http://ztranslate.net/service?api_key=XXXYYYZZZ . Attenzione: al momento è supportato solo il protocollo http, non ancora https .

• Metti in pausa la schermata tradotta : vuoi mantenere la schermata tradotta in sovrapposizione e continuare a giocare, oppure vuoi mettere in pausa il gioco mentre la schermata tradotta è sovrapposta? [hotkey]+ [R]per rimuovere la schermata tradotta in entrambi i casi.

Per ottenere risultati ottimali , assicurati di non attivare gli shader quando utilizzi il servizio di traduzione. Gli shader modificano la grafica del gioco e le soluzioni OCR funzionano al meglio quando i caratteri visualizzati sono il più possibile "standard".

Temi di EmulationStation

È possibile installare una selezione di temi compatibili con Batocera tramite il menu AGGIORNAMENTI E DOWNLOAD → TEMI . Questo ti dà la possibilità di selezionare e impostare un nuovo tema per il tuo sistema.

I problemi di compatibilità tra i temi non sono rari, quindi assicurati che non siano stati segnalati problemi con il tema che stai utilizzando.

A partire da Batocera.linux 5.24, la maggior parte delle EmulationStation per RetroPie e Recalbox sono compatibili. Tuttavia, alcune funzionalità sono esclusive di Batocera e richiedono un tema progettato appositamente per Batocera.
