Gli sviluppatori delle distribuzione sorgente ROCK Linux hanno rilasciato un nuovo Live CD - una versione x desktop con KDE 3.4.3, costruita con la versione di sviluppo attuale di ROCK Linux.
La selezione corrente dei packages usa il template 'minimal desktop', ke incorpora un completo desktop KDE e altre applicazioni, come MPlayer, xine, etc. Naturalmente questa scelta può essere cambiata a seconda delle proprie necessità.
E' usato SquashFS ed è supportata la possibilità di scrittura. Maggiori dettagli sono disponibili sulle pagine del progetto (in inglese). Download: livecd-x86-pentium-mmx-rev6454.iso (405MB).
